It’s almost the weekend – time for the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County to share with you the best of what our community has to offer.

Each week, you get three ideas – one that’s free, one that’s affordable and one that’s a splurge.

Your “3 to See” cultural curator is Marilyn Bauer, director of marketing and government affairs at the Cultural Council.

Canstruction 2016

If you’re a fan of cans, charity and culture, the fourth annual Palm Beach County Canstruction exhibit is in full swing this weekend at The Gardens Mall. Made entirely from non-perishable food items, large-scale sculptures created by local artists, engineers and students decorate the lower levels of the mall. The title for this year is “Fields of Dreams,” as most pieces represent the agricultural industry. The exhibit ends Sunday, when the food will be donated to the Palm Beach County Food Bank.

Canstruction 2016: On display through Sunday. The Gardens Mall, 3101 PGA Blvd., Palm Beach Gardens. Information: 561-775-7750;www.palmbeach.canstruction.org
