Nov. 19 through 25 is National Farm-City Week, a time to recognize and celebrate the importance of relationships between farmers, consumers, community leaders and everyone in between who contributes to our safe, abundant food supply. 

Annual Farm City Luncheon, highlights agribusiness in Palm Beach County, one of the largest agriculture counties in the country. In collaboration with the Western Palm Beach County Farm Bureau, Florida Farm Bureau, the South Florida Fair. Keynote speaker: Scott Etzel, a vice president for Wells Fargo's agribusiness industries department, who will provide economic projections for the ag industry in Palm Beach County. Panel of experts includes Perry Borman, executive director of the Palm Beach County Food Bank; Laurie George, president and CEO, United Way of Palm Beach County; Paco Velez, president and CEO, Feeding South Florida; and Denise Hatton, director of public affairs for R.C. Hatton Farms. People who attend are asked to bring canned/non-perishable goods to donate. Each guest will receive a box of locally grown produce.
