April is Volunteer Appreciaiton Month
This year, just like every year, we take the month of April to remember all the phenomenal volunteers that choose to share their time fighting hunger in our community. Volunteers are the driving force against food insecurity across the world. With their consistent and dedicated work they create solutions, and cement the foundations of positive change in our global community.
We are fortunate to have a surplus of these incredible people right here in Palm Beach County. Our wonderful individual volunteers, who take time from their busy lives to share a few hours a week fighting hunger in our backyard, make up a sizable portion of the Food Bank’s volunteer base. Our amazing partners: The Breakers, FPL, Wells Fargo, IThink Financial, and so many more routinely support the fight against food insecurity by volunteering.
We are thankful for our supporters each and every day, and despite this tumultuous time, we continue our fight with their help to end hunger for good.
