Bill retired as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Sugar Cane Growers Cooperative of Florida in Belle Glade in November 2010 where he worked for 28 years. Mr. Kramer has served on the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Pension and Retirement Plan Committee of American Sugar Refinery, Inc. He received his BBA in Economics from the University of Georgia and served as a Naval Officer and Naval Aviator from 1968 until 1972. He has a MS Degree in Accounting and Business Administration from California State University, Fresno. He has worked for Peat Marwick Mitchell, Certified Public Accountant in Orlando, Florida. He earned his CPA and subsequently worked for the Restaurant Division of General Mills, Inc. where he held various leadership positions in financial analysis, management and accounting.
Mr. Kramer’s civic involvement has included membership in the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, Inc., former President of The Practical Academic and Cultural Educational (PACE) Center for Girls of Palm Beach County, former Chairman of the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Theater, former Board Member and Treasurer of the Palm Beach County Cultural Council, former Director of the Florida Fruit & Vegetable Association, and former President of the Florida Division of the American Society of Sugar Cane Technologists. Mr. Kramer currently serves as Chairman of the Criminal Justice Commission.
